Keith Urban scoops Best Entertainer, and Luke Combs is Best New Artist
The results are in from country music's biggest night, and it was a great one for Chris Stapleton!
The C2C 2019 headliner picked up Single Of The Year and Song Of The Year for his track Broken Halos, as well as collecting Male Vocalist Of The Year, where he was up against Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban.
Artists that have performed in the UK this year did very well, with Brothers Osborne winning the Vocal Duo award, Kacey Musgraves getting Best Album for her third release Golden Hour, and Luke Combs being crowned New Artist Of The Year.
However the biggest award of the night went to Keith Urban, who is the CMA's Entertainer Of The Year, beating Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton. Keith last won the award 13 years ago in 2005!
Thomas Rhett, who always flies to the UK for concerts right after the CMAs won Best Video for his track Marry Me, while Musical Event went to David Lee Murphy and Kenny Chesney for Everything's Going To Be Alright.
