On Thursday night, history was made as the inaugural People's Choice Country Awards took place at Nashville's iconic Grand Ole Opry, hosted by Little Big Town.
During this momentous occasion, country music legend Toby Keith received the first-ever Icon Award. The distinguished star, who courageously shared his stomach cancer diagnosis with his fans in June 2022, was introduced by none other than Blake Shelton.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, "Heart Like A Truck" singer Lainey Wilson, garnered nominations in multiple categories and emerged as a triumphant winner, claiming three coveted awards at the 2023 People's Choice Country Awards.
